Social commitment is one of the fundamentals of CALAF Grup’s identity, and involves both our internal culture and our relationship with the environment. This responsibility is deployed through ESG criteria (Environment, Social Responsibility and Good Governance), fully integrated into our management system. With the implementation of benchmarks such as ISO 26000 and the new ISO-IWA 48:2025, we clearly define the social objectives we want to achieve and consolidate a way of doing things that reinforces the entire value chain with an ethical and sustainable perspective.
This commitment begins with the people who make up the Group. We consider our team to be our main asset, which is why we promote initiatives aimed at well-being, innovation and personal growth.
However, our responsibility also extends to the territory. We actively work with local entities to promote inclusion, education, culture and sport as drivers of social progress. This local roots are part of our responsible growth model and our commitment to generating a positive and lasting impact on the communities with which we live.
Social responsibility.
Implementation of the system on the ground
The organizational culture of CALAF Grup incorporates ESG criteria (Environment, Social Responsibility and Good Governance). The deep-rooted implementation of these principles in the Integrated System provides distinctive added value to guarantee a line of work reinforced in the ideals of the social field applied to the value chain.
CALAF Grup has set up a cross-functional team to develop ISO 26000 and ISO-IWA 48:2025 to determine the objectives it wants to achieve in the field of Social Responsibility.
Social commitment
with and for the workers
Employees are the main stakeholder group for CALAF. Therefore, social commitment begins “at home”, with a commitment to Human Capital as the company’s main resource.
Innovation projects such as “the new construction office” or the application of WELL standards in the new Calaf offices to improve worker comfort are efforts on improving the quality of life of teams and enhancing their personal growth.
At the same time, with a clear commitment to supporting and caring for people, we integrate mental health into our preventive strategy as an essential part of people’s well-being. We have a corporate mental health and emotional well-being program, which identifies and manages the psychosocial risks associated with each job. We analyze the psychosocial factors of each position in a personalized way and design adapted actions that promote resilient, safe and emotionally sustainable work environments, guaranteeing healthy workspaces and taking care of the emotional balance of the teams.
Social commitment
with the territory
CALAF Grup understands that business activity must be linked to the social progress of the territory in which it operates. For years, the company has been committed to a responsible growth model, with strong local roots and a real commitment to people and the community.
Its involvement with the social fabric of the region is reflected in multiple collaboration initiatives with entities, foundations and associations that work for inclusion, equal opportunities and improving the quality of life of vulnerable groups, in addition to supporting culture, education and sport as levers for social equality.
