VHIR. A new space to transform health research

The new building of the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is now a reality, and at CALAF Constructora we are proud to have been part of it.

With more than 16,000 m² dedicated to research, innovation and teaching, this new facility has been designed to promote scientific knowledge with a direct impact on people’s quality of life. A project that represents a clear commitment to talent, technology and collaboration.

The building, designed by BAAS arquitectura and Espinet/Ubach, stands out for its integration with the environment and an architecture that connects spaces, fosters well-being and promotes sustainability. Interior courtyards, natural light, green roofs and open spaces are elements that define a construction designed to grow with research.

This project reaffirms our commitment to responsible, useful and purposeful construction. At CALAF Constructora we don’t just build buildings: we build scenarios for the future.
