The Automotive Training Centre in Martorell is one of the emblematic works within the scope of the training facilities run by Constructora Calaf. The center is being executed through a joint venture comprising the companies EMTE, Teyco and Constructora Calaf.
With over 10,000 m2 of floor area, the Centre for Automotive Training of Catalonia is located on land donated by the City of Martorell and SEAT, and it is located next to the premises of the factory.
SEAT together with some other companies such as Doga, Ficosa, Gestamp, or Nissan have signed a protocol of cooperation with the Government and the municipality to establish synergies and enhance the development of the center, which is intended to promote vocational training in the the automotive industry, one of the sectors considered strategic for the country's economy.
The equipment - which can accommodate up to 16,000 students per year- is a school building highly equipped with technical workshops, classrooms, laboratories, etc.
